Stress Awareness Month 2022
April is Stress Awareness Month.
Stress can badly impact our mental and physical health. This month is about increasing awareness of both the causes and cures of stress.
Research from the Mental Health Foundation has found that in the last year 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point that they have felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.
Stress is not a weakness and can affect everybody. Recognising stress and its causes, and taking steps to look after our wellbeing, can help us to deal with pressure, and reduce the impact that stress has on our lives.
There are small things we can do everyday to look after ourselves.
Last Friday, the Advance Customer Collective celebrated Stress Awareness Month by discussing the 5 ways to wellbeing. Each customer gave examples of how they manage their stress.

The Customer Collective meets on the first Friday of every month and is a space for customers to socialise, discuss important topics and raise any issues they have.
